MY MORNING ROUTINE

I started a morning routine for myself to help transition from home-life into work-mode life. I’m sharing with you guys because it’s really helps me relax before I begin my day. It provide structure and separation for this work-from-home environment. I really recommend making your own morning routine and do what works for you. Only you know your own habits so make a routine that works for YOU!

Sharing my WFH morning routine below for inspiration.

Instagram - I’m not going to lie the first thing I do is scroll through instagram and resist the urge to check my work email. I do this for about 10 minutes to relax and tend to my additive social media behavior. :) This helps prevents me from going straight to work mode.

Make Bed - Making my bed sounds old school but it really gives me a sense of accomplishment and feel like a self-worthy adult. It’s my first accomplishment of the day. Plus, it gives me 1 personal thing to check off my list.

Get Dress - Most people would take advantage of PJs in a WFH scenario. Not me though … I get dressed. For me, I need to wear nice non-lazy clothing to get in the zone. It keeps me focus and stops me from lounging around the house. Plus, I get to look cute for myself.

Make Coffee - COFFEE period.

Meditate - I sit on my couch for 10 minutes and zone out until my alarm goes off. Then I jet off into work-mode and make a DOPE work checklist.

PEACE & LOVE!
