FADING FRIENDSHIPS
Long lost are the days of hanging out at my friend’s apartment, eating 20 tacos, domino’s cheesy beard and watching “Nip Tuck” before pregaming for Thirsty Thursdays. Little did I know that those little moments would mean soooo much. It’s a lot harder to keep up with our friends now-a-days and here’s a few ideas on how to!
THE PREGNANCY QUESTION
I’m at the age now where people are expecting you to get pregos especially since I have a hubby boo. When I’m reconnecting with people, the first few questions are “how are you and when are you going to have a baby?”. Honestly, this question never used to offend me in the past but now it hits a little bit differently.
Travel Diary | Big Bear
This weekend I took a quick get away trip to Big Bear and BOY was it NICE! The last couple days I’ve been having major brain fog. My professional job sometimes can be super busy and overwhelming but that’s the life of a Product Manager. The life I love to live.
Travel Diary | Melbourne ( a story about traveling for work)
This time last year, I was traveling alone for work in Melbourne, Australia. It was by far one of the best and most memorable experiences of my life! (Shout out to my current boss if he’s reading :) This was the furthest I’ve traveled alone and I am not going to lie I WAS NERVOUS. I learned so many things from this trip and wanted to share my experiences and reminisce about the “good old times when we could travel” with you all!

Most of the time you don’t! This is a friendly reminder TO GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK because if you’re burnt out you’re not going to be really useful for anyone else either. Here are some simple ways to practice self care.
NEW YEAR NEW HOBBY IDEAS
We made it! It’s a new year and new beginnings! As we step into the new year why not pick up a new hobby. Let’s face the facts realistically things won’t get back to normal anytime soon … so why not start a new hobby to pass the time.
VISION BOARD & GOAL SETTING
Every year in December I start goal planning for the next year. The last few years I added a vision board and simple mantra to my goal planning tradition. This keeps me motivated and focused on my goals through the year. I’ve created a digital template and wanted to share this with you! Click below for free template.
MAY DAYS
I’m back! The last couple of week’s I’ve been pretty MIA with blogging … we’ll it’s because I got a new baby puppy! :) My sweet man of a husband got it for me as a gift. Our 1 year wedding anniversary is next week and we were suppose to go to Santorini for our Honeymoon. Now that’s cancelled and I ain’t mad at it. He got me one of the best gifts EVER - my new pups name is Bear Lee Barnett the Torgi and he makes me so happy.
MORNING ROUTINE
I started a morning routine for myself to help transition from home-life into work-mode life. I’m sharing with you guys because it’s really helps me relax before I begin my day. It provide structure and separation for this work-from-home environment. I really recommend making your own morning routine and do what works for you. Only you know your own habits so make a routine that works for YOU!
Sharing my WFH morning routine below for inspiration.
WORK FROM HOME TIPS
This week I started working from home. I found myself going a little stir crazy and working non-stop for over 12 hours straight. Time flew by so quickly that I unknowingly skipped lunched, missed dinner and quickly responded to every email that popped up. I realized this was unhealthy and decided to change the the pace a bit. Here’s a few tips that kept me sane during this WFH (work from home) environment.
