BEAUTY | Glossier - Is it Worth the Hype?

The GLOSSIER HYPE - Is it worth it? The brand aesthetics are sooo beautiful and gives me Brandy Girl Vibes. I purchased a few hero products from Glossier to try out.
QUICK THOUGHTS ON PRODUCTS I TIRED BELOW
The Priming Moisturizer smells like a field of eucalyptus. The moisturizer is thick and creamy. I have really dry skin so this really helped hydrate my skin during the winter time. It left a bit of a dewey look on my skin. This is definitely something I would repurchase for the the winter time only.

Milky Jelly Cleanser + Solution $34
Not gonna like, I’m not a really big cleanser person. The Milky Jelly Cleanser smelled really good and did remove my make-up but it took a while. The Solution is used like a toner - the active ingredients in this product are for acne. I would definitely recommend trying the Solution out if you struggle with acne but it’s not going to be a repurchase item for me.

Super Duo (Super Bounce + Super Glow) $28
The Super Duo Serums are my favorite products from Glossier. I used the serum during the day & at night. It’s so easy to use. I did see a difference in my skin. It felt more plump and hydrated. THESE ARE DEFINITELY REPURCHASES FOR ME.

When I first opened this product … I though “OH MAN” this really reminds me of the Erasable Markers from the 90’s. The applicator is really fun to use because you twist the cap and the product comes out. I appreciate the fact that it was sanitary. It really made me feel like I was erasing my zit.
P.S. when I used this product it irritate my skin but that’s because I have sensitive skin. You know your skin better than I do so just remember to check for ingredients you may have a reaction to. I would still recommend trying this product out for yourself.

Rose Balm Dotcom $12
This was the product that changed it all for Glossier. The concept was so simple … put lip balm in a “paint-like” applicator. I love using this product because it makes me feel like I’m painting my lips with a light pink tint. The balm is made out of salve is really provide a lot of nourishment for my lips.

Final Thoughts
Glossier is good for younger peeps or people first discovering skincare. I would definitely recommend this Brand for teenager who are getting their feet wet in Skincare and people with normal to dry skin. Glossier does a good job of making it easy for the consumer to build their own skincare routing.
