BEAUTY | Fenty Skin Honest Thoughts

Melissa Khoeum Barnett | Fenty Skin

Hiya Guys!

During the summer Bad Girl Riri launched Fenty Skin. I’m usually skeptical of celebrity products because they're usually suspect. As a skincare enthusiast I had to try it before shutting it down completely. I was really intrigued and knew Riri would create something special. Obviously our Bad Girl RiRi’s has a long standing record of changing beauty standards and promoting inclusivity. It’s a damn good message and mission to endorse so here I am giving my honest opinion.

  1. TOTAL CLEANS’R REMOVE-IT-ALL CLEANSER ($25) :  The cleanser is marketed as a cleanser make-up remover combo. I love the soft gentle foam feel of the product and unique packaging. However, I’m not a big fan of the fragrance it’s a bit too strong for me and I would say this is provides a deep clean but not for heavy duty cleansing. I typically use this with my meejee to help remove heavy duty makeup (use my code WEARTOBARE20 for a discount).

  2. FAT WATER PORE REFINING TONER SERUM ($28) :  Again, I love the packaging is so cute and prevents contamination. This is a product for those who are new to skincare and need a simple routine. The toner is thick and duos as a serum the helps refine pores. The main ingredient is niacinamide which is a key ingredient to help prevent dark spots. The product is pretty refreshing to use however I personally did not see a big change in my skin. Everyone’s skin is different so I think you should test it yourself.

  3. HYDRA VIZOR INVISIBLE MOISTURIZER BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30 SUNSCREEN ($35):  This is the hero product of the line! The packaging is amazing as expected but the SPF really surprised me in a good way. It didn’t leave a white cast like most sunscreen which I loved! Again not a big fan of the fragrance but this is something I would repurchase.

BOTTOM LINE: Fenty Skin is good for people who are looking a simple 3 step skincare routine and bad girl riri fans.

PEACE & LOVE,
