Yes! This Is A Sign You Should Rest! | LIFESTYLE

Hey Guys,

The last 4 months I let myself rest. This for me is new. Let’s be real though I still have a full-time job (to support my life) but this was the first time I allowed myself to truly rest on my time off. I’m use to having a jam pack schedule from blogging, to birthdays, to cleaning and spending time with bear. I was always on the go and instead traded that in for netflix and sleep. Giving myself a break actually gave me time to think about what I wanted in life instead of running fast to no where. I hope you give yourself sometime to reset. Here’s what I’ve learn during my time off.

  1. RESTING IS PRODUCTIVE

You have to get into the mindset that resting IS PRODUCTIVE. Doing nothing, having no plans gives you time to breathe, find inspiration and create.

  2. FINDING CLARITY

Giving myself time to think gave me more clarity. I run fast towards no where and this time helped me realized “what life I want to create”. Now I’m working towards those goals.

  3. BETTER SLEEP

The first couple of weeks it was hard to sleep but then I started watching brainless shows on Netflix. I use to feel guilty for doing this but it really helped me get better sleep and feel refreshed for work the next day.

  4. APPRECIATING THE LITTLE THINGS

It gave me time to appreciate the small moments in life. I started cuddling with my husband and dog a lot more. I took walks during my lunch breaks and took my time grocery shopping. There’s a freedom in knowing that there isn’t a time crunch.

  5. MAKING MORE INTENTIONAL DECISIONS

With more clarity comes more direction. I’m more intentional on making choices in my life. I ask myself is this choice going to lead me closer to my dream life? If yes I go.

Well, I hope you take the time to reset and find clarity.
